I'm new to the Quilting Bee... and world I should add! lol...

I'm hoping to make a quilt for college so I decided to go with school colors and the mascot... Blue, White, and Dark Blue. The mascot is the blue jay.

I do not have a partner as of yet!

    Thanks!

I'm glad you like it!! My bestie told me to add the writing. It was a little out of my comfort zone, but I loved the finished product!!

Honestly, I think that with this wonderful group, there won't be any "bad" blocks.

However, fellow swappers, should the swap send a lemon, don't be upset, just make lemonade.
Great save! Sure beats throwing the block away.

All the blocks I have seen here and have gotten have been great.

KGoodhand, I have your block ready to send. I hope you will like it, I think your Coca Cola quilt will be a cute one. I liked the block I made for you so much that I used my tea pot fabric and made one for myself. It's called Maple Star and it's fun to make. My camera isn't working with my computer right now or I would post pictures. I will try to get your block in the mail on Weds. of this week.

Suggest you send a pm with your info (name, address, and your theme) to Blueribbontoes so she can add you to the March assignment. We switch partners monthly (sounds kinky, doesn't it? lol)

I think planning a quilt for college is a fabulous idea.

The wind took out our phone line which also knocks out the DSL. Amazing how much you miss in just a few days. So nice to have the computer back.

Great blocks everyone! It is great to see all the creativity. What a fun swap!

I sent my Feb partner her block on Feb 2 and have not heard if it arrived. Iluv2quilt did you get it? Hope it isn't lost in a snowbank somewhere.

I had some extra partners this month that sent FABULOUS Jars!

Nuts & Bolts by Moosegirl. And she sent a little extra fabric to match.
    Cute buttons from deltonlisas.
Yummy Peppers and extra pepper fabric from Goldendog55.

Love Them! Love Them! Love Them! Thank you Ladies!
