I so enjoy finding squishies in my mailbox! This one was from Mary (granny216) - I received two beautiful blocks, one using my original theme colors (pastel purple, pink and/or blue w/white) and one using my modified theme colors (bright purple, pink and/or blue w/black). I love them both - I'm really liking the contrast of the brights with black, and am thinking of changing my theme!

Thank you so much, Mary - your blocks will be in the mail tomorrow or Friday (will PM you when they are on the way). I hope you like them as much as I like the ones you made for me!

[quote=amma]I received my block from DannyPanny today :D:D:D
AMMA thank you for posting the block. Sooo glad that you like the colours. It is very difficult to decide what colours or patterns to use. This is my first swap so a bit worried. Did I tell you the original block has been used for my pincushion/thread holder???? the points didn't match properly. Have a great day and thanks for swapping with me ciao

    hi

replied earlier on but I seem to have deleted message.

Hope I can remember what I wrote...

Going away is a gift from me to myself to celebrate one year of being cancer free. I have colon cancer...

It is for five days and we shall be going for walks, swim in heated pool, having campfires at night and oh yes... sewing classes during the morning and afternoons!!!

I have lived in Kenya and Rhodesia and "safari" is just apt.

I told my family I wanted to do a "Shirley Valentine" as soon as I had recoved. OK this is not going to Greece (as in the movie) but heck it is going to be a great time to relax and enjoy living again...

So looking forward to going... It is about a four hour drive from where I live.

    Will keep you posted.. ciao

I have promised to do something about posting photoes since I joined. Well I SHALL have to learn quick quick.

You can use prints that read off white (cream) and blue. No problem. :)
