I have finished 2 blocks for March and am working on one last one, it is a paper piecing one and much much harder than I had anticipated I may have to rethink this...
Anyway I was wondering what kind of envelope you all use to mail your blocks.

I use the 6 1/2x9 brown ones with the tab closure because I don't have to fold the block as tightly. Sometimes, I use the legal size envelope and fold the block to fit.

There has been discussion (and recommendation) to either put the folded block in a baggy or wrapped in saran wrap and protect it from the weather. I sent some out without but recently went to that method because one envelope looked like it met a pit bull.

It is also important to get the envelope weighed and stamped at the postal station. If you put regular stamps on it, write "not machinable" on the envelope so the post master won't run it through the stamping machine. (That's what happened to mine that got chewed up)

.....and here you thought mailing was easy. lol
