Quiltingnonie - Not to worry, the block is pretty...I have done the same thing, made a block, took a picture and OMG what happened it was seemed right until I looked at it in the pic!

oooh! I laid out my blocks, and it looks like I only need one more red/teal/bird block and I will have myself a quilt! I have two picked out I didn't include in the quilt top, as I want to make a wall hanging with them. I am so excited! lol!
