Ok ladies I was thinking in Jan. I would do some extra so that I can get some for my mom for mothers day but that doesn't give me much time so I guess I will start for december so I will be sending a pm to someone???

was there a size listed somewhere for a finished quilt?? maybe if I can't get 12 in a few months I will just go smaller finished quilt?

    Star--

Are you still looking for stars and the same color scheme? I can send you an extra 1 or 2 in your December pkg. What a nice thought for your mom.

No actually My theme is batiks and my mom is really into southwest type stuff, cactus/hacienda houses, etc.

So I was thinking of that for her and then letting her put it all together how she wants,

What size quilt are you planning?
With 12 blocks you can arrange them 3 across by 4 down but that only gives you 36x48. Not very big except for a lap quilt. you can add sashing and borders and increase it to about 48x60.
20 blocks or 4x5 with borders and sashing would be 60x72 a better size IMO.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks Amma! I wish it was a "real" braided rug... that particular one is my Pottery Barn fabulous garage sale find... brand new from Pottery Barn at a garage sale! Score! It is in my little girl's play room. Nothing makes a room more cozy than a pretty braided rug...

Alright! I think I may be caught up with my sectertarial duties. Double check the roster, make sure your theme is correct, and if I added a star to your name if you wanted one.

NEW MEMBERS, remember to contact anyone with a star by their name- from the roster on page 20- to do an additional swap before January! (Only IF you want too, of course!)

I have really been enjoying seeing the block pictures! Keep them coming! I am so glad everyone has been enjoying themselves!

Everyone has been making fabulous blocks! Awesome job, ladies!

And, WE HAVE OUR FIRST BONUS BLOCK going out! Wooo hoo!
