I'm new to this swap thing. Can someone tell me if I am supposed to post the picture of the block I made to send to my swap partner for the month? It is ready for the mailbox.

Most people are posting a pic of what they receive. Otherwise the recipient doesn't get a lovely "surprise" in the mail - and we all love opening those surprises.

    P.S. Great block Karielt.

It is good to take a picture, just in case your partner has camera problems and can't post a pic when she recieves the block. Ask me how I know...

Yes, I like my sender to post if they can, my camera acts up at the most inopportune times!

Is anyone still visiting the monthly giveaway blog? I still cannot post to it. I sent a July block, but wondered if I should have since I have not heard of anyone receiving anything for the past few months.

I sent my first 6 months in one hit and had intended doing the same for the next 6 months, but BRT has not read my PM from 22 June asking if it was going ahead and Madeinmaine was not sure if it was continuing so I haven't sent anything.

great looking blocks everyone I got dropped from the thread again so had to go back and read from the 25th forward.
Aug is upon us and and I'm sure MadeinMain will be sending out new partners anytime. I'm behind before we get started this next time I think.
