    Mad,
Your block turned out so beautiful!! I am so glad you tried this pattern out. It gives me hope that I may be able to do the same. Well, maybe not as good as yours. You have done a wonderful job!!

I love this block. Red/wh/blk make a very striking combo.
I am anxiously awaiting my Jan. partner info so I can decide what I want to do.

Thanks ladies, I never thought I'd like black/white with a splash of red till I made one?? Well I hand stitched this one all down, there are 7" yo-yo's in the center. Well April had it quilted for me last year for my B-day, but we were very disapointed with the quilt job as you can see, she was upset but she wanted to surprise me. I do love the quilt just the same.

    Nice...
I couldn't envision a black and white with red quilt... now that I've see it, I have an idea for a baby quilt. :D

    Sulabug,
it is much easier than it looks. Did you check out the tutorial on youtube? Just type "faux cathedral window" in the search window. She does a real good job showing it. The only thing that is a little tricky is when you sew the 4-patch together. The center piece does not want to align easily - but once you finnagle that, it's easy breezy.
