I love this Shadowirish. What will you use it for? It's cute. How big is it?

Nice little quilt coming together Rhonda! Have a couple (5 actually) of mini's I'm quilting--the smallest one is not from scraps but will share when I get them finished.

I am a miniaturist and 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" are my most common sizes used. I also use 1" pieced squares as in HSTs and Boston Blocks for things like keychains and magnets.

I've gotten out of the groove and now I'm trying to get back to doing what I do best.

Oksewglad I'm still thinking AAQI and I do want to do some for them.

Oh Rhonda you are too late on the AAQI. They quit taking registrations for all quilts on Aug 1st. I thought I was going to get a couple more done but that didn't happen. AAQI is an all volunteer organization and it was getting too much for the volunteers to keep doing.

Thanks Rhonda, the hexies are 1" the box is about 1 3/4" tall. So far it's been a thread catcher beside my living room chair.....someone at my guild meeting last nite suggested chocolate! I had no specific purpose in mind when I made it, I just wanted to see if I could do it.

I didn't realize it was that small! A friend of mine in France came across some 3/4" paper hexs and sent them to me. I haven't used them yet but would be fun to try! Some day I will LOL
