And a couple more with the quilt. I posted this quilt earlier in this thread but not the close ups. Sorry they are a bit blurry. they were pics from a 35 mm camera scanned in.

LOL I love showing them off. I try not to be obnoxious about it tho! but my mom has this habit of giving the hearts to friends and relatives every year so I am making more to replace the ones she gave away! LOL

BTW the smallest velveteen heart is 3/4". I love challenging myself on them. I have a few more of them I just made in the last few days. they are fun to make

Elsabrat...you asked, "ok and someone here just posted I have a tub full just like average. does everyone have a tub full? " I have two plastic bins full and still don't mind getting more. My goal by end of this year is to have it down to one bin full. Many of my scraps are 3 inches or smaller so I have a job ahead getting many of them used up.

I'm the one with the "average" tub of scraps. I didn't say it well.....I have a tupperware tub of average size worth of scraps. I don't know what a normal amount of scraps is either. That's like asking what a normal size stash is I think.

I want to try postcards too. I'm thinking of adapting some papercraft cards to fabric for that purpose. There are some great homemade card ideas out there.
