Rhonda, I am ready to mail on Monday. I like to make something special for my partner based on their needs/interests. One time, what I had made in advance wasn't really relevant to the person's life so I made something else quick. Anyway, this can postpone shipping a bit. I don't know if personalizing gifts is slowing shipping down in any other cases (I did have something already made), but I thought I'd mention it. Maybe I just need to get more generic.

Default More of my scrappy Sulky BOM

I've got March's block pieced. I think I' m not going to do the hand embroidery until I have the blocks together. Anybody think that is not a wise decision? Never done anything like this before so I'm not sure.

If it is going to be very big you might regret that because you'll have to bunch up or wrinkle the rest in order to embroider the blocks in the middle. On the other hand, if your embroidery is going to cross block seams you'd have to wait until those seems are together. That's my $.02 worth.

Thanks Foxflower, maybe as I put the blocks together and do it in sections? I'm worried about distorting the blocks.
