The quilt has not been heard of since arriving in Brazil. I am the one who made the quilt for her and pray it was not lost or stolen somewhere in the confusion. Can't make any decisions on what to do until we have something to do it with!

Garnet1265, Thank You for the info. Please, post when the quilt finds its way back to you. I'm sure that some of us on the board will help to send it back to Brazil...I'm sure me and the others do not blame anyone for this dilemma. I have never shipped across the sea, so I probably would of have done the same thing. This is a lesson for alot of us and you where the teacher.

The package arrived on Oct.6 .
As I was not able to pay import taxes + daily deposit it was sitting in PO warehouse till Nov.5.
Now its due back to customs and next step is return it to sender.
I do not know how this works but can go there ask and see if there is any kind of tracking.
The risk of being stolen / lost exists thou.

I remember a post telling the lady at US PO suggested a U$100 value because of the insurance , lets keep our fingers crossed that all go well on its way back home.
