I am just going to have to start wearing my wooden spools in my hair, if was long enough, and make myself a ring, a matching braclet, and a necklace. maybe even put them on my shoelaces for ornamentation. i will be so goodlooking in wood.

OH WOW! I can't believe you have the top finished. I'd love to see it! I've got all the fabrics for yours and the pattern picked out. (Had carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand on Monday, so can't cut or sew as yet!) Don't worry, I'm sure I can finish it in time!

Wow, I'd love to see a picture of that! Who knows, maybe you're on to something....... You could actually decorate the wooden spools with sparkly gems, string them together and make a necklace, right?

OMG, I just googled spools and lookee what I found:

Angela: the quilt you made me is beautiful ! I love batiks and I love this quilt!! You did an awesome job!! And you are not going to believe it, but I was thinking of making you a quilt with a similar block, not on point!! Maybe I will rethink the pattern.

So that is what it will look like when I am done with it. Maybe my girls will be the models for me and we can do this for Easter. Nothing like a little fashion time with the girls.
