Well, my longarm is throwing a temper tantrum so did not get Whigrose's quilt quilted, but I did finish all the applique blocks for Tam moo's quilt so now to get those sewn together and ready for the border which I am working on then onto the quilting of hers. Almost there......

Gwyn/Mamasani wrote to me that the SBS quilt arrived and she loves it. It's adorning a chair in her living room and she's instructed her boys to keep their hands off. ;-)

    QuilterMomma,
DH picked your quilt up from the LA this morning. He says it is amazing.

The wedding is now a memory- a beautiful one. I will be house/pet sitting for the next two weeks but I will be working on the bias binding and finishing up your quilt.

Just wanted to let you know I will have sporadic access to the internet during this time but I am still very much here.

    Getting down to the wire.

    best,
    d

Anyone else lingering here still that is making a quilt for a partner that is "completely missing in action are the following people:" ? I hope my partner is well and that we will be able to complete the swap. In the mean time I am feeling a little left out with the fun of the swap. I know pidly but it is the way I feel. I need to still quilt the top but the quilt is sandwiched and I picked out some quilting designs.

Wow Whigrose, I am special then if the DH says it is wonderful. I am so excited. I know where it is going to go in my house. It has a special spot waiting for it. I am thrilled. I have your quilt designs picked out, the binding set now just time to finish quilting it. It is on my list of finishes for May so I am hoping will be soon. It just has been so chaotic at my house lately. We had to break down last night and buy a mattress so that took up more time, this weekend SIL is coming over so there is more time. So glad is a three day weekend though so I can get some longarming done. That is where they are mostly sitting, at the longarm waiting. Well, got to get busy again at work and then quilting at lunch and tonight. Had to finish up a baby quilt for daughter, throw in a different UFO for other daughter for graduation present, at least I finish another couple ufos. The ladies at the group just loved your quilt Whigrose, they will even awe more when the quilting is finished I hope.
