Not sure what is more fun, making the quilt or receiving it. I am now torturing poor Tam Moo because I did not open the box yet. Or is that torturing myself. Oh well, getting hers done tonight so can mail to the sweetheart on Tuesday. Excited for her to see it.

I have my top DONE...had to totally rework it to make fit the 60" guidelines, but it is still cute and I call it "Double Dutch"...it was well received at quilt guild last night!

so I am hogging all the chat time today. Excited again at a wonderful quilt I received. Tam Moo has done a wonderful job designing her own pattern with the inspiration from a single fabric. I now own "Fancy Feathers". I am so touched. Thank You TAM MOO.. Love the extras as well, the batiks are terrific and your monthly blocks are perfect.

Can I just say that I feel like a proud, happy parent, watching her kids graduate? I'm tearing up, for goodness sake!

This has been such a great experience. I had a wonderful swap partner, I was stressed out, I was afraid I couldn't make a quilt worthy of swapping, but I think I did ok. When I look back, it really was a good experience. Face your fears...

    I would do this again.
