Here is my first block. It is called Another Nine Patch Star. I am not happy with it yet...I think I have to use pins. :-(

What do you all think of Evening Star? This one has a missing point, but it was my practice block. Should I put more white and less red? or is it ok as is?

    Help, Help! Thanks, Thanks!

What a beautiful block. I think the amount of white is just right.

Lovely blocks people! Theres some fantastic fabrics here aren't there?

Miss Gigglewings, IMHO there's no point in worrying about how much red or white or whatever is in an individual block, since it all depends on which other blocks you get back to put with it. I tend to start thinking about that at the sashing stage. I like your block how it is anyway :-)

I still have to pin mine. I love the block. You have done a great job. The more blocks I see, the more excited I get about making this quilt. It will be so very special.
