I have a question?? Why do you send us back one of our blocks? Can't we just keep and make a extra one for ourselves and get 12 of ones we don't have? Do you understand what I am saying?

I am not in charge here but --I think the answer to your question is that 12 blocks would be enough blocks to make a quilt where 13 would be and odd size

I usually use at least 30 blocks in a quilt I really have no use for a smaller size. I like bed quilts. If we are gonna get back our block why send it.Why not send 11 and keep one.?? I guess I do not understand.

I am thinking it helps the person who is diving up the blocks match up the colors and such to your block if they have yours to go by.
