    Is there a easy nice looking block I could do ? I would like to do this swap to make a quilt for my daughter.

    My house blocks are done! Looks a little like a space alien doesn't it!?

    All 12 will be in the mail to Carsey by the end of the week.

    If that is your first block ever, watch out quilting world, another MASTER has arrived!!! :thumbup: :lol: Those blocks look GREAT!! (especially for a beginner!!!)

    thank you so very much.. i have sewn for years, and i have made quilts the 'patchwork'..'attach as you go' style i learned from my grandmother.. but this is the first time i have ever made an actual quilt block.. i've always been nervous about it..lol... i appreciate the encouragement - helps my confidence level...

    I think your blocks are really great!!!!!!!!! The points look wonderful, as well as the quarter inch seam allowance around the edges. Keep piecing!!!!!!!!!!
