    Thanks!
I love quilting where the lines have to meet up.
A fellow friend and quilter hates stars for that same reason!

I think it came out looking pretty good for a new quilter, took me a few minutes to figure how it went together, but after I did found it quite easy!
Ok I ran into a problem, with the red fabric, I ran short of a FQ to finish the 12 blocks, so I ran off to Hancocks where I purchase the FQ and they didn't have any more in stock, so I went to another one across town, and they didn't have it either so I went looking around the store to see what I could find that would be close to what I was using and found this!

So my question is I know there all suppose to be the same, but I'm learning and didn't know how many blocks a FQ would make...and I'm going to have to use a different red and this is a close as I could get, is this exceptable?
They don't have to all be the same. My material is all different. Just relax and have fun.

This is my first swap, and I think they turned out pretty darn good. Here's a couple of pictures.
I definitely think you should get back into this swap. This is my first swap too.

It's a 9 patch 8 point star (not sure if there's an official name for it)

I have loved every block I have seen - this is my first swap also - I had never made any type of block before this - my block was 'Card Tricks'.. somewhere back in this conversation is a picture... I am sure my blocks are not perfect but for a first time I feel pretty darn good about them and I think everyone else should feel good about theirs too.. we always seem to be our own worst critic but as long as we are having fun and meeting new friends I think we are good... love those blocks all!! :)
