I still haven't even touched my box yet - we are in Kansas for another 2 days plus a full day to fly home.... It'll be Thursday before I can even consider dealing with mail in general! Vacation is awesome but also exhausting. This is the longest one I've taken in more than 10 years.

I love taking vacations but what I don't understand is when I come home I feel like I never went on a vacation. what is that about???? Also if I am away more then 3 weeks, I miss my home. I always discover this when I go to Australia every year. I stay up to 3 to 6 weeks. I am always glad to come home.

I am working on the other Boom blocks. I did 7 yesterday and will do some more tomorrow. If I keep doing this amount I will be done by this weekend and I can start on our repeat boom. One of the things that I like about this boom is that I don't have to worry about choosing the pattern. I agonize over the patterns in the other boom because I want something to really showcase their fabric. In this boom I don't have to think about it and the other positive point is I get to do some blocks that I have never done before.

    UGC2,

I am looking forward to this Boom for the same reasons. Only 4 more to go in the other Boom and I am ready to go here. I have scheduled to finish all my blocks for both Booms by August 25th. Then on to making quilts for the holidays!

Vacations are wonderful for those with energy. I always loved going! going! going! a trip was always in the works. I loved them and loved coming home just as much... so I could plan the next one.

Hoping to finish jclingenray's block today. got 80 percent of it done but was too hot and tired to finish its all cut however and just two more rows and I am done. A real thinker block for me working on the diagonal is not the easiest for me but I am doing it!

Elisa- Finished organizing and doing a quick look on the blocks and instructions for this swap......these blocks are thinkers....

Vacations are getting harder for me these days! With Parkinson's I move a little slower and need to make lists two weeks in advance to be sure I remember the necessities...lol...by the time I get back home I am thrilled to be back home...where the true vacation is for me.

    Sew Easy!

giquilt....would you pick me up the free pattern and you can send it with your blocks. thank you.

Almost done with all the blocks from the other Boom. Getting anxious to work on this groups. Tired of deciding on patterns and want the decision made for me. LOL.
