My daughter is coming up from down under with the grandkids and they will be staying with me. Oh dear, where to hid all that material. LOL. Ok, so I have this genius idea to reorganize my small walk in closet and take some of the stuff that was in the bedroom and put it in there. Sounds great, right? Well two days later and I am still working on it. It was like opening Pandora's box. But I have high hopes to have it all done by today. I so miss my sewing machine.

I have 6 blocks of 22 left to finish. I'd post pictures but a lot are duplicates

Oh what fun! I finished the last blocks yesterday and put in mail.

Urgodschild2, i sent a tracking # by PM. I used your left over fabric in a block I was making for another quilt.

TheMamaHauser: the quilt will be beautiful because of the fabric you picked. I love the block. Keeping it for future quilts of my own.

Elizabrat: The cat was just darling. Had to hide from granddaughter or she would want a pillow.

Groovy Pieces: I was skeptical on meeting your expectations as I have few Batiks, but I loved the block in the end and hope you do too.

Nelco: The ribbon turned out so sweet! I had the soft green fabric.

Buzzy Bee: Chevron Christmas turned out great. Where did you get the off white snowflakes? Great fabric. (By the way, we are neighbors. I live just below Nashville. I'll wave next time I pass the exit on 24E)

Old Cat Lady: This is going to be a dramatic quilt. (See note with block.)

Nurse Bonnie: Loved the focus fabric. My daughter was a Tweety Bird nut when she was little. Turned out to be a fun block.

Happy Lab: Ok, this one is going in a saved folder for patterns. It makes such a great scrap buster. (PS, is lab a dog or a place. I worked in a "Lab" for years so that comes to mind.)

Katrina: This will be a great Red and White quilt if all the same blocks or even as a sampler.

jclinganrey: This block pushed me a little (a good thing). Loved your fabric and how the block turned out in the end. This will be a great quilt and I am saving the pattern. I had already saved some 2.5 inch blocks.

Actually I am saving all the patterns. I just might make a sampler quilt for them.

Looking forward to getting my blocks in Oct. giquilt!

Default Block from Bee Beatty to Jclinganrey!

Hello Everyone! This Block is for jclinganrey! Had to post a photo to make sure I understood the directions correctly. Yes, this one made me think a little, especially sewing the rows together. Hope it is what you wanted.

    Bee's a little buzzy today

Default Block for GIQuilt from Buzzy Bee

This block is for GIQuilt called Broken Wheel Variation. It is a happy block for sure!

In checking in here, I have not noticed anyone posting photos....are we not doing that for this boom. I will post until I hear otherwise.

Yep. That's just what I had in mind. As mentioned in the instructions, pleas keep the outside 'wings' intact. I'll square up the blocks when I receive them. Looks great!

Jinglelary (for some reason my brain has renamed your Board name to jinglelary)

Jane, thank you for the post. I am so glad I followed the directions closely. I have had so many compliments on this block. I never.....ever make a perfect block where all my points line up....but this one...well let's say I was proud of my sewing. I will make one of these to go with the other blocks from this Swap to make my Christmas Sampler Quilt. Thanks for swapping with me.

Default Block for Old Cat Lady made by Bee Beatty

Block for Cat Lady.....I just kept sayin" Lord help me finish this block"! This block was a "bugger". I could not get my points to line up. Ripped out and re-constructed to. Sometimes the most simplistic block can be get me cornered!
Hope you like it Cat Lady. It will be my most memorable!
