    Hello,
I don't have Craftyone27 on my list. Did you send me a PM so that I can add you???? We have 10 people for sure.

    Nelco
    Jarenie
    Moonwork42029
    Celendine
    LJDugas31
    Travelinggramma
    Terriamn
    The MamaHauser

We need a few more people and we will have at least a small group.

I think Craftyone27 was a strong maybe... I had put her on the list so it was easy to see. Hopefully she'll jump in .

If for some reason we don't get anyone else, I wouldn't object to doing 2 blocks for each person if that is an option.

Hope y'all have a wonderful day.

I'm still on the fence - sorry to say, but that plaited block scares the bejeezes out of me. So many seams, I'm just not confident I could do a great job with that one.

Craftyone27 ... well, I won't fib, I'm a relatively "simple" quilter but I am willing to accept the challenge of trying this block.

Everyone that signs up knows this (and all swaps) is open to all levels of quilters and everyone does their best...not everyone is "expert". To me, we all accept the fact that some blocks that come back home may not be quilt police perfect but we know in our hearts they were made with quilty love and to me, that is the most important part.

These are smaller pieces than my fat fingers normally work with but I know that I must take a scant scant 1/4" seam or I'll have trouble. I wouldn't have picked this block to ever try but this way I will TRY the block. I love the way the blocks looks put together so if I like it, I can enlarge the pattern for future use and have a new block under my belt.

Hope this encourages you to know there are others "afraid" of detailed blocks but when else would you get the gumption (and poke in the rear) to try one (or 2) outside your normal wheel house. When I first thought of trying to do paper piecing I thought "what in the heck have I gotten myself into" but I love love love the sharpness of the points and have an embarrassing amount of PP patterns.

LOL Moon work. I love the moonwalk too. I also love the sexy PJ's. I am ok with doing two blocks per person but that means that everyone has to send more fabric too. I know last time Kelly signed up for two spots so that she would get two blocks back from each person. We now have 11 people HappyLab just signed up. Well Happy Valentines Day to all of you. I am sewing all day as this is a day to myself.
