Thanks all! I better scoot over the fabric shop! I'm in So. Cal. flying home to the midwest early tomorrow. Hopefully will get fabric and have it cut by saturday afternoon. Good thing I have a fabric shop just around the corner from home!

Welcome aboard Hike, the more the merrier.
Urgodschild2, where exactly is M & L fabric. I used to live in riverside and my sister and I used to drive to a hug fabric store and buys lots of fabric. Wondering if it is the same store. I'm wondering what the address may be.

Hikeaddict. I use to live in Manhattan Beach. Went to high school there.
Happylab M and L is on3430 WBall Rd. in Anaheim. Between Knott Ave and Beach BLvd. I live about 4 miles from there.

Sorry to say this ladies but I may end up dropping out of this boom. I notice a few of you are California girls so the Weather Channel may not be a favorite for you. But if you have watched this week you may have seen my town on the news. We were forecast to have 6 - 18 inches of snow but luckily we only got about 9 inches. It is lovely to look at and always inspires me to quilt but 3 or 4 inches can shut us down for a week. We just aren't equipped for it. My concern is that I won't be able to get my F8s out until Monday. I may be able to get them out Sat morning but the overnight temp is forecast to be 16 which means really icy roads. I don't want to hold up the group so whatever you all decide is fine with me. I have a pattern chosen I can't seem to find the name but it's pretty straight forward -mostly HSTs. Please let know how to proceed - Thanks

Barb (urgodschild2) said she'd be sending out her address and email on Saturday.
It will be Monday before I can get to the post office also.
We too have been buried in snow for 2 weeks...in Kentucky we're not prepared for 12" at once. It's been awful for us tender southern belles. Can't wear flip flops and have to wear our mud hunting boots. Argghhhh bring on the spring!

Yes this is same store I used to frequent, over 20 years ago. I grew up there and moved to the Midwest many moons ago. I miss the weather, I never had to change my plans due to weather. I miss the dry heat. I miss the mountains, the beaches, and deserts all within a few hours, drive I occasionally go back to the area every few years. I do not miss the traffic.
