Yuck... we got about 12" of snow last night...2 days ago it was over 60 here!

This is the 2nd huge snowstorm in 2 weeks for us. I know I know it's nothing like in the east but dang y'all this is western Kentucky. We're already suppose to be in flip flops and capris.

Snow day for me today and most likely tomorrow at this rate. Nothing has been done on our street. At least this time the hubby is home and can make tracks with our 4x4 in the drive way...even if the axle is dragging in the drifts.

Glad our box made it ok. Can't wait to get it back full of beautiful fabric.

For those not in the two month boom I have been pretty freaked out the last several days. Doctors office called Monday and asked if I had time to talk. Yikes knew that wasn't good. Two of three biopsies tested positive for basal cell carcinoma. 99% curable. Will have MOHs surgery On the 16 then extraction surgery on the 17 th. Wish I had the fabric for the swap, it would keep my brain occupied

Yikes Terriamn.... what awful news. But after reading about it, it sounds like you will be a okay in a short time, which we're all very glad of!

You can use the patterns that everyone wants to use and make practice blocks that will coordinate with your other boom blocks and have tons to work with. That should keep you busy for a little bit.

That sounds like bad news but with a good outcome. That is always good to hear. Well you might have these back in time to at least start on them before the 16. What is a MOH and then extraction????

I am off to the Sew and Quilt show in Pomona today. Talk to all you ladies later on. Maybe I will get more packages today too. Good thing my son is home to collect them. (grin)
