Hikeaddict...your poor kitten still makes me giggle... I truly hope you told her you were just kidding about getting a puppy. That face should be on a Hallmark card or have it's own meme started.

Moonwork- Alas we weren't kidding...we are getting a puppy in a month. Lol. But the breeder has cats so she won't be a novelty. Hopefully worst case they ignore each other, best case they snuggle. Hopefully...

Terriamn- Thanks! Such an exciting time!

Good question to ask JoKid03. Such a quirky block.

My lovely puppies decided the cats are fun animals to Hurd and chase. So they chase the cats as often as they can. All the cats respond by just meowing and laying still. We usually have to rescue the cats. I thought when we got the dogs as puppies, we would have to rescue the dogs. It's funny how things turn out. There is no snuggling in this house between them.

Good morning everyone. I am off for another tour of the Hoffman factory in Mission Viejo. It is fun. Yesterday afternoon I went to download pictures from my Iphone and the computer says you have an upgrade, please install. I did and it completely wiped everything off my phone and I h ad to set it up like a brand new phone. I did have back up on the cloud and so thinking I lost all my phone numbers, my son retrieved them all for me. Today I looked at my notes and those are all gone too so I will wait until tonight to see if my son can retrieve them too. GRRRRRR.
I am happy that my phone numbers are all back. But last night I could not call anyone and I was at bible study for the kids. I felt so lost and I don't use my phone that much. LOL. Oh I also thought I lost all my pictures. Scott retrieved something and I have to check today to see if they are all there. I just downloaded yesterday so it should not matter as I do have them on my main computer.

I would like solid, but also will take tone-on-tone. I would like to stay as true as possible to the sample finished quilt on the block site.

Happy Lab it took 5 or 6 years before our cat and dog decided to get along. It was totally the dog's doing. Before we rescued our dog, Kitty grew up with a Rottweiler and lab springer mixed and the rotti would be laying on the floor with kitty curled up around her neck. After they passed on we rescued Rio and she has a hound heritage, oh my there was a constant battle here.
