Hikeaddict... for the crinkly seams... spritz with water, then iron again but not so "hard"...use the tip of the iron and try it that way...should help.

Glad she likes him somewhat but argh...she does have to suffer with dog breath...the indignities she has to bear....

Teriamn, I too am feeling disheartened. I was home all day on Monday and no one came to the door, so I am wondering who on earth they delivered it to. I looked for it because you said it would come on Monday. How do we find out where it went too? I am feeling so bad now.

Jumping in here about the missing package. Barbara, contact your delivering post office with the tracking number and ask them to "ping" the delivery location. Every time a pkg is delivered, it should be scanned and the address to which it was dropped is logged. Had this problem in my last swap and turns out the po told me a pkg was delivered erroneously two doors down. If USPS wasn't used, I'll bet fed ex or whomever has the exact same ability to locate the exact delivery address. Hope the pkg turns up!

ooooo look what I found ... I live about 15 minutes from Hannocks of Paducah and just happened to wander in today and found a pretty decent sale. I was good and only bought 3 of each package of these. Bali Snaps for $5.99 a package of 40....look at the rainbow of colors in them....

I know I should be finishing up my last 2 blocks but I have a sewers block...all cut out but I had errands to do.... Guess after lunch I'll tackle one of them.

Here is another- for Jokid. The picture was purple when I took it on my phone, but it turned blue when I emailed it to myself. I SWEAR they are all purple. Not at all blue. I know it's a little retro..hopefully you like it! Anyone have any tips to get rid of these dang crinkly seams??

Make sure when you mail your packages to me that you have the right address. Still trying to get Teriamn's package. I left a note on their door. Today the note is gone but no one answers the door. Hmmm. Went over this evening still no answer. I will keep trying. You would think they would contact FED EX and return the package. GRRRRRR.
I hope that all of you had a happy mommy's day. Here the weather was absolutely beautiful. Not hot, Not cold, just right.

I am doing the HAPPY DANCE, oh yeah, the HAPPY DANCE. Went over to the home that had the Teriamn's package delivered too and someone was home. They do not speak English very well (from India or Pakistan), darn if it was Mexico, I could have spoken to them. Anyways, they opened the package because they didn't know what it was. It was not important to them that someone else's name was on the envelope. Didn't know what to do with it. Of course contacting FED EX was not a thought in their brain either. But it has all turned out fantastically wonderful and I have Teriamn's blocks. Everything was in the package that was suppose to be there. So we can all celebrate.
    YEAH!!!!!!

Off to sew for me. I am waiting to hear about my friend's shoulder surgery today. Hope all is well for her. She thinks that she will be able to sew and continue immediately doing all her projects. LOL. Been there and my shoulder surgeries were done orthscopically. I think that is what they call it. roatators and bicep tendon tears. She is having the entire shoulder opened up from front to back. OUCH. She has cartiledge tears. I am also trying to not buy starbucks everyday. Going cold turkey and so far, I am fine. My son just went out to the store and asked if he should bring me back a starbucks and I said NO. I was spending $150 -200 a month at starbucks. Yeah I was shocked too. Everyday and buying for friends. Crazy me. I make coffee at home now. Well off to sew.
