That is unusual for us. No more "blooming" updates until after Mother's Day!
I am a native New Yorker too but not New York City. We like to say the other New York. MamaHause....you sound like you are from the other New York too. (mine is Syracuse and Oswego)

Hmmmmm the weather. Well I can truthfully say that I am glad that I moved back to Cal as you can't beat the weather. That said, we actually have rain. Oh my goodness.....it rained!!!!!! It actually did what they said it would do. we are expecting even more rain tonight and tomorrow. Will miracles ever end. We need rain so badly. They severely cut the water supply to our farmers in the central part of the state. So maybe someone can figure out how to take the melted snow you all will get and ship it to So. Cal. My church has tulips all over the place that someone planted. It makes you think spring is in the air.

Just finished block number six for Happy Lab. Love this blue fabric. Going to be a soothing quilt. On to number seven....half way. I have posted all the ones I have finished in an album on my profile page.

The white-on-white snowflake fabric for HappyLab's block finally arrived. I bought a FQ of it from an eBay seller, and was beginning to think the transaction was going south. After I bought it, she started getting complaints on her feedback page for non-response and very slow shipping. Ugh. It finally got here, though. She'd just crammed it into a plain white business envelope, without any plastic to protect it, but it got here in one (very wrinkled) piece. Whew. It's freshly washed and ironed now.

    Starting on the block shortly.

    Moonrise,

Know what you mean about E-bay. I bid and buy a lot of specialty fabric from E-Bay stores. I learned that the Post Office has contracted with UPS to use their planes in trade for the Post Office carrying to the front door. So many flights have been canceled due to winter storms that slow and lost deliveries have become the norm. Feel sorry for the store owners who get a bad rep on E-Bay. I am still a loyal customer

I've been to 3 fabric shops looking for white on white snowflake fabric... I didn't see any star white on white... it seems to be mostly leaves, flowers, dots, or swirls...

I found some by pure luck. It was literally the last FQ in the store of that print.

I couldn't find any snowflakes either but I have a friend who has an on-line store and she had some. YEAH. She gave me all that she had. Sweet. Here are my last blocks. they are for The MamaHauser, givio, happylab, ljdugas 31,
BeeBeatty, and Buslady. Phew. I will admit that I can get more done when someone else has decided on the pattern. LOL.

LJ Dugas.....don't worry, yours is not chopped off in the corner. Just folded under and I didn't notice it when I took the picture.
