My wh top is in pieces so it's coming right along. Had a great time with gran of six and even got some sewing done. As a little teaser-- there is orange, there is black, and there is work to be done! Lol, i love these things! I haven't learned to post pictures with my ipad yet. So old and so much to learn! All the stuff i learned before either isn't true or doesn't work any more. How did our kids live long enough to grow up?

Nancia I think the kids these days are amazing. what stumps us each and every time things change up (ie windows8) or remote controls lol they just pick it up and say oh you just do this.. and they go with the changes amazingly well. I think because when we were growing up you got up to change the channels (remember those TV's) and you picked up the phone not the computer or sent a letter.. we just were not brain trained so to speak to function with those things. old dogs new tricks but well it takes a lot longer to train an old dog. I know. I am one ..

My friend lost her Wheaton Terrier in September. I don't have a printer and I am not a good artist but I think this captured his essence.

Oh I love your dog wall hanging. I know you think of your dog every time you look at it. And its all good memories. Dogs are our special friends and they give us so much. You did a great job. I can't draw realistic either.. cartoon like but never those real image quilts. yikes. those are for the other people! I am doing a candle quilt and my mind said make a stained glass window. My brain however says how the heck are you going to do that. I made myself a ton of work. Stitched down the panes up and down but now the little interconnecting ones I am fusing/applique down and its a long road that one. Surely could have done it easier but couldn't figure it out. so busy beaver I will be

J, very nice interpretation of the dog. It is always a sad affair to lose a loved pet and to have this as a memory quilt is very nice. You did a good job. I like the flowers and fun swirl fabric which makes the quilt a happy memory quilt.
