today I made candied coconut strips from fresh coconut. omg its so good.. cant be bad for you right, I mean coconut is natural and well sugar comes from cane's so its natural and well it must be terrifically healthy. I tell myself this one bite at a time

almost the end of the month can't wait to swap.. cant wait for the next one glad to make a turkey or a cow for someone.. love those kind of wall quilts. I just did two candle ones for the dq swap and it was fun.. added some sequins and some beads and now I wish I had one! wait I will get one!! phew.

nancia its hiding next to the sewing machine. last place you look its guaranteed to be hiding there. check the underwear drawer. how could you lose it??? the CATS. they took it. SHOOT those darned cats .. sneaky sneaky.. also check under the dog he might want a place to curl up and nothing is ever better than something momma was working on.. I don't leave projects out on my table because of this.. two seconds you turn your back and wham nap time for one of the critters.. good luck.. its Sunday.. go on a treasure hunt.. who knows what other goodies show up!

Actually, Jan, that's part of the problem! I'm re-designing my quilting area and i have been throwing stuff out, and donating stuff, too. Trash day was saturday, same day i took the goodwill stuff. Please, don't let it be!! I have a pattern for another one if need be. Guess I'll need to either give up looking for it and start the new one so i can get it done on time. Grrrrrrrr. I am going to have to give up swaps, it's just too stressful!

Maybe a trip to the goodwill store is in order, what have you got to lose? You never know might be right there just waiting for you to pick it back up....I don't package mine when I get them done. I have a "pants hangar" hangar type thing that does over the top of a door so I just use clothespins and hang them up. Then I have to pin a little label on it to say what it's for or I'd forget. And sometimes my kids spot it and say" Oh mom, can I take that one?" Nope its got a label, sorry need it. The minute I get a partner's name out the door it goes. And you can't give up the swaps!! You'll be all organized soon, sure hope you find it though.

Hey Nancia, Just send the fabric and pattern. I'm game! You need to stop worrying over it. Sometimes life happens at the worst possible time.
