I thought I replied to this Cheryl....but it didn't seem to work...so I'm not trying that way again. Glad to see you back Cheryl. My colors are blue/green teal turquiose and white. We can exchange addresses when you get your PM box cleared out. But we can work on our blocks in the mean time. Katie

LindaC wanted blues, so I grabbed what I had in my stash and started playing with it. What came out was something marvelous! I almost want to keep it myself. Linda, I can't mail it until next week, but wanted you to have a look at now.

Rhonda, did you name this one? I took it from your tutorial on Boston Blocks. I have to buy more fabric and do this again in multiples for a wall hanging or lap quilt. Everyone in my family loved this one.

No I didn't start naming them til I started the Sampler. Some quilt blocks have unofficial names. The one I make like this with HSTs and not Bostons I call Rolling Stars. tho I think it has several traditional names. But this one I never even tried to name it. I am not good at naming them that is why I went with the old fashioned ladies names so I didn't have to come up with anything fancy! LOL If you want to name it go ahead!

Hi, is it too late to join? If not I would like to join. Do we just make a block for one person, from the sites listed above?

OOPS!! Thanks anyway, but I won't be able to do this block swap afterall. Just realized I have too much on my plate right now, so close to Thanksgiving. I will see if there's openings sometime after the first of the year when things settle down. Have fun everyone.

My mom was a Polly Lee, don't know if you have a Polly yet. If you do, then do you have Catherine taken? Catherine Jane is what I wanted to name one of my girls, after both grandmas, but I had an argumentative husband who thought it sounded too Star Trek (Voyager's captain was Catherine Janeway).
