Here's the May block I sent to Alice. After seeing the block she sent me, I understand more about contrast. In the block I sent the 2 light blues didn't create enough contrast so the block pattern doesn't pop.

That looks wonderful JB! You did a good job on the contrast. It is one of hte best I've seen for color coordinating. You have a good eye for keeping the colors and prints opposites. Really makes the design pop out.
