Jane, I will have to see what I can find in red and white. Sometimes, it is very hard to match reds and whites.

Thank you for the kind words. Couldn' t find the white Anne used but was able to come up with the same shade white on white with a different design. It's "Ramblings" by P&G Textiles if that helps. I used a solid red that was as close as I could get to Anne's and Janet' s. Hope this helps......

Also picked up a red and white plaid but when I got it home found it to be more off-white than white but if you think you can make it work it's, "Gallery In Red and Blue" by Faye Burgos Marcus Fabrics. It is the correct shade of red. Then there's "Surrounded by Love" by Deb Strain for Moda. It's a little lighter but not much and has the same darker design in it as Anne's only larger. Then there's a pretty print with a light into darker red with different size white dots that I really liked but didn't work out for what I was doing. It's "Bethany Berndt Shackelford, licensed by Suzanne Cruise for Quilting Treasures". My solid red was from the Fabric Shack. Also, I did not use the white Anne sent or the red baton Janet sent along so will send along. Gosh I hope some of this helps.

Thanks Janet...you're very kind. Received Anne's quilt today. Your row is so cool!!! You all are intimidating me! I am such a two, sometimes three color person...scrappy is just so hard for me but I'll give it my best shot. I always learn something in these challenges.

Did not get Anne's quilt shipped today...had to find a box....shooting for tomorrow.

That is what is wonderful about this - we all have different gifts - and I have a large box of scraps!

It's not that I don't have scraps, it's more like I can't see the overall picture and concentrate too much on picking out the perfect colors instead of just grabbing and not paying attention to what goes next to what. Goodness, it took me FOREVER to get comfortable mixing plaids, stripes, checks and prints !!!...LOL
