I'm still waiting on the fabric I ordered to finish Belinda's center. It has shipped but it's not here yet. I had a hard time figuring out how to finish the top. With the summer delays, I think the goal is to have fun finishing what we have. Those who CAN make it by the 15th - great! Those who would struggle to finish, I'd say slow down, deep breath and give yourself an extra week or two. I know that all of the tops will be FABULOUS and well worth the wait.

does anyone have an idea when the next round robin or row robin will start up I would love to join it??

I know there was interest in one of the other groups but I can't remember which one.

I just want to do another one with you guys, I feel safe in this group. I'm in another row robin right now where someone joined then kept two of our quilts and now is no where to be found...one was mine. I'm heart broken to think someone on this board would do that. Maybe we could stay in our group and just change the format so it would seem new and fresh!

I read early today the posts on the other group
and I´m sorry for it all.

Before stumbling upon QB I lost 20 string blocks
to the hostess of a swap in another group who was also the owner of the group - complaints never went trough because she happened to be the moderator...

Well, the fabric to finish Belinda's center is sitting in Charlotte--about 1.5 hours away! Hopefully, it'll be here tomorrow and I can get it washed/pressed. I know I will NOT make the August 15th mailing date but I hope to be just a few days late.

Gosh Kathy, that sucks! I know the same happened last year.

I am finishing my row robin now and then I am dropping out of robins for a while. When I emptied my sewing room 2 weeks ago I found UFOs that I had totally forgotten about so I HAVE to focus on finishing things.
