Something about that doesn't sit right for me. I am always striving to improve.

How about Boomerang Quilters, or Boomerang Babes or something that refers to all of our quilts going to Australia and back just like a Boomerang. Or in LittleMo's case from Australia and back. By the way thank you LittleMo for being a part of the IRR 3 otherwise we wouldn't be international. :P

That centre is awesome! I have already made a reconnaissance mission to the LQS to see if they have any fabric to match.

No problems here. I can hardly wait to get started, although a little scared, but thats me all over, jumping in the deep end and hoping not to sink.
    :-D
I will think a bit further about a name using boomerang. Its a good idea.

Candle - I LOVE your center. It will create a beautiful quilt. I just realized I get it First! Oh boy, now the nerves set in. This is my first time.

I have not decided on my center yet. I have a panel of peacock on black that I may use but also have a pattern that I am thinking of piecing. It will be a matter if time runs out I guess.

Okay, suggestions for names....I'm not very good at this and tried to borrow something from the other groups on the first letter but it gets long.

Some thoughts on the number or distinction of ten....
    Neon – 10th periodic element
    X – roman numeral for 10
    J – 10th letter of alphabet
Kappa – 10th letter of greek alphabet

    Names:
    The Power of X
    Twenty – ten
    Ten reasons to robin
    10, 9, 8, 7, 6 gals sewing

    6 quilters quilting

    or something about serendipitous friends....?

Serendipity is a propensity for making fortunate discoveries while looking for something unrelated. (this is how I feel about the friends I've made on this board)

This is the third centre I have made, and hopefully the last.

    I would like your opinions:

Should I use pink as the corner squares? I thought it might look alright and also introduce another colour. What are the thoughts of the group?
