I really have been happy with all the border exchanges I have done. I have also been in 6 or 8 row exchanges and then didn't know what to do with the strips. So after many years of them being packed away, I gave them to my guild for charity quilts. I think that one of them that was a red, white and blue went into a quilt of honor.

vovoa, I know you said 'a Christmas theme' but it looks like winter to me.... Such nice fabrics! I love the pattern-- nice motion in it. I could see that center exploding into a spring border, then summer and fall borders, and rounding out the robin with winter again at the end. :-) lol But, heh, if you want a Christmas theme, I'm game for that too. :-)))

maryb119, From your center and your avatar, it looks like you like circles or dots. :-) The positive/negative black/white look of the star should give some interesting ideas for additions.
