Thanks for joining, girls! This is enough for a group, great! We'll see if the group gets bigger during the week, or if we will have enough to form a second group. :-)

I'm having trouble waiting! This is so exciting! Thanks so much for wanting to do a Round Robin with me! So, let's go with the 12" center (12 1/2" raw size).
Mine is going to be a block I have left over from a block trade that I was in two years ago. I didn't sew it, one of the other girls did. It didn't seem to fit into the project that I was doing at the time, so I didn't use it. But now I will! :-)
What are you going to use?

I'd also like to join but turnaround time is to tight, I was hoping for 2 month and being able to pick the size of our center block like previous RR I've done in the past.
With that being said, if you need a 5th to complete a second group keep me in mind.

I like the RR idea! However, here is my 2 cents...instead of posting monthly photos, keep it a surprise! Post only a photo of the finished RR quilt top. I've done RR before and when pictures are posted, some people lose interest because they don't "like" what's being done even though they agreed to the RR rules. Again, this is just my opinion. I also would include a "journal" starting with why #1 chose the center block, their inspiration, favorite colors, etc. Then the other participants can add to the journal as to why they chose to make what they did. Instant "story" of the quilt.
Would love to join, but time constrictions won't allow this time around! Can't wait to see what is made. Good luck to everyone!

Lv2sew2011, That's a cute pattern! It certainly looks like a dog-lover's block. My first thought was to go with a doggie type theme throughout the quilt top, and my second thought was to add lots of other types of animals too, making it like a 'Noah's Ark' of various creatures. :-))) The block certainly puts my imagination to work. It's one reason why I like to see pictures.
ILoveToQuilt, Sometimes when people chat together and get to know one another better, it can open up their hearts to be generous, to like afterward what they wouldn't have liked at first. An adult doesn't necessarily think a child creates art masterpieces, but can kindly enjoy a crayon drawing that is given to him. If something isn't exactly beautiful, it can still be cherished because a friend made it.
I would be the opposite of what you mentioned: the more time on the board with the group, the more pictures shared, would give me more interest to continue rather than less. ...So many personalities! :-)
And if a finished quilt top doesn't meet someone's criteria for home use, then there are plenty of acquaintances or charities that can use it. I look forward to giving my charity quilts. I find that very rewarding.
