Hi All...sooooo glad that the grandkids went home today! I can get back to life and sewing. This has been a crazy week, I am hoping they don't have to stay again for awhile, love the visit...but they are 8 and 12 and argue about everything...nerve wrecking.

I believe that Frogquilter has it right about how this works. THANK YOU! I am glad to know that your package is coming UPS, they will take it to the post office and I will have to go pick it up.

KathyN...I have my row finished, but will send my journal during the week, I haven't had time to work on it. I have to cut the sashing also.

You are both right. Each person selected a theme. When you get their quilt to work on you stick with the theme and colors/type of fabric that they requested. Its fun, it expands your stash of fabrics and stretches your abilities with each new quilt to come your way. They are lots of fun!!!

Thank you all for your responses.
I'm glad I posted the questions.
Now I know this is going to be funnier than expected.
    Hugs,

Karen I'm sorry I didn't mean to make it more difficult for you. Let me know if I should send it USPS next time. I can definitely do that. Thanks Christina

Came in the mail today! Sooooo cute :) I'll make sure to send it along when I'm done with your row. Only have gotten as far as shopping for the fabrics. I took a pic...I'll post later this week, unfortunately too many things going coo-coo right now.

Me too. I'm eager to receive your row and start on my second row.

I think it is too late to order a label from jajudd24 so I will make five signature blocks and send them with my row for you guys to sign them.
She was pretty quick. Plus you could always send it separately. Kathy N left hers out when she sent her row to me, but sent it later & I got it today to add in. Just a thought.

My understanding is that we all declared a theme and use of fabrics if we wanted something particular, which we all did at the beginning. I haven't done this before but what I get out of it is that I will stay with the theme and use of fabric for each person's quilt row. I.E. I will use jewel tones with a Celtic design on Sweetness's quilt and I will make farm block for Karen's quilt row, so on and so forth.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong....

Karen Mine is coming to you via UPS. I will PM you the tracking info. Hopefully this is just as good as delivery confirmation via USPS but where I work I can use our UPS for a fee but I get to skip the dreaded post office. :) Have a great weekend gals.

You are absolutely 100% correct. With that said...everyone please double check what's posted in the first post on page one to ensure that any details are accurate. PM me and I will make any changes necessary. I think it's just important we have one place to go to review what we're doing before we do it to ensure everyone is happy!!!

For instance...I have Kathy N's and it's 1930's fabric made in star blocks. So I bought 1930's fabrics & will find star blocks to use.

I just get over excited! and I have to drive 120+ round trip to get fabric. Planning is really important.
    120 mi for fabric...OMG I would die!
