I am cutting and piecing three of the 5 blocks today for Roberta's row. Fun using civil war fabrics! :)

    Chrys,
I'm excited to see all the blocks. I forgot to mail a label with my row. I hope to have a beginning label mailed next week. (I'm traveling this week)

WOW !! Your row turned out really nice !! Can't wait to see these rows in person ~ since Civil War is an area of quilting I have not ventured into before ~ It is exciting learning and working with something new !!!!

I know this is off subject, but I must share! I visited NYC Thursday to Sunday with the intent to visit the major art museums. The fates intervened. While waiting in line for tickets, the gentleman standing next to me looked at me and said "Do you like Quilts?" The "Infinite Variety" quit show became my number one priority. It was fantastic!! The Empire Quilters' show, "Urban Inspirations" was a second delightful surprise.
I'm attaching a couple of pics

hay gang...this has been quite a few weeks. First we moved and you probably know how hard it is to get ready for that.
Next my amazing Mother in law fell and then past away on the
22nd we have had non stop company from out of town. Funeral and all!
Today was my first rest day and my sewing room is still in boxes.
Now, I just got home from the ER cause I had to get 6 stiches in my index finger on my right hand. (of course the hand I use most)
OK, God I think I have had enough. This stupid finger hurts!!!
Anyway, I am trying to find my sewing machine to get my row done. Don't worry I will get it done, I work great under pressure. hahaha. I know just what I want to do so that helps.
No worries I am not dropping out I still am excited to do all the rows and see everyones quilts!!!
    Blessings to all,
    Candi

I am so sorry for your family's loss. This has been a very difficult time for you. Please take some time for YOU. Rest and recover. Allow time for your hand to heal before taking on a project. You do not have to be superwomen.
I received an email today which I will send to your PM. I think it was meant for you.
