Hello, thumb is recovering well. Maybe not well, but it's ok, and I can finally machine sew without dripping or oozing blood onto the fabric.
Last night finally got around to finalizing Izzy's row, so it will be back in the mail on Monday, winging its way to Carole for a final row.
Have included a pic of the 5th block I made, as I saaid, was going for a cockatoo, but was unable to fins a decent pic of one to copy, so instead, Izzy now has her very own koala in a gum tree.
Here they are, hope you like them.

    All the rows so far

Oh Linda I sure hope your thumb is better!! I sewed right through my pinky one day and snapped the needle off inside of it :( Stinks when our hobby hurts us..
I absolutely LOVE LOVE Izabella's rows and that last block you added is perfect. She is going to be thrilled when this comes home...I can't wait to see her face. I think I will wait until it is bordered, quilted and bound before I give it to her...what say you all?
Thank you all so much for making this such an amazing memory for my Izzy. This is truly a stunning top so far and I love love all of the blocks you have all made.
    Hugs
    April

More news. Thumb is all healed. Now my pinky is riddled with fine glass particles from a shattered light globe. Still unable to sew. At least I can fuse appliqué to do later.
