Sherry - your row for Sandy is adorable. Her quilt is going to be sooooooooooo cute when done.
RoseySue - I washed fabric today, searched through books for at least the 10th time and finally decided on your square. Unfortunately, its now the weekend and I won't get back to working until Monday.
I have got to finish up the commission baby/little boy quilt. I am on 2/3 done - that means 3 blocks to go, a little on some sashing, then binding and its complete, finis, over and out of the country. I'll post a pic when its all done so everyone can see it.
I will also try to find a pic (good one that is) of me so everyone can see what I look like. Don't want to break your monitors, rofl. Carol
Hope everything is going well for everyone - we finally got some rain - not enough less than 1/2 inch - but something. Carol
If any of you have not seen the book JUDY HOPKINS 501 ROTARY-CUT QUILT BLOCKS, you might consider buying. I use it a lot and there are patterns in there for a lot of different sizes.

I highly recommend it. I am able to convert the directions to my accuquilt tools too - saves time and accuracy.

Sounds like a good book. I have sooooo many good books, and they are a help on lots of different areas of quilting.
We have quite an extensive library with our guild. I check them out, but don't get a lot of things done I would like to do; not enough hours in the day.
We are having a garage sale Mon. Eve. at guild. I hope I can keep myself from buying a lot of "stuff." All I really want to buy is fabric for a "stack and whack" quilt. I have a book on making it, and getting really anxious to make one.
    Hope this finds everyone well.
    Mariah/Martha.

I like your row Roseysue. Very colorful and pretty.
I have been thinking about yours and Sandy's rows, and "getting my head together."
Hope everyone is well and having a good week.

Sherry - your quilt is looking great! Everyone is doing a great job on all the quilts.
I started cutting and sewing for RoseySue's row this morning and already have to modify one color. I will post a square when complete. Carol
P.S. I do have the Judy Hopkin's book and use it a lot for ideas.

Sherry, it is fine if you want to go ahead and mail yours. Mine is ready also; just to put in the mailing envelope and let Roseysue.
I can probably work in Sandy's over Mem.Day, as it is supposed to rain for 4-5 days along then. Whatever works for you is fine.
    Martha/Mariah.

Roseysue, I can mail your package most anytime. It is ready except to go to the post office after putting in a mailing bag.
I wanted to check that the mailing is getting to you without a trip out to pick it up. I feel certain the girl at the p.o. didn't realize there was that step involved.
Sherry is ready to mail to me, which is fine. I can be working on it over Mem.Day while it rains for 3-4 days.
Just let me know if the mailing got to your house okay, and if you will be home to receive it. Mon.or Tues. are my best days to do that sort of thing.
    Mariah/Martha.

Here is a square for RoseySue's quilt. It was supposed to be Janet's Star square but I had to modify in order to get more green in so I hope its okay.
My idea is to make 4 of these squares and then use a larger focus fabric square in the center with some sashing. How does that sound? Carol

The green is much softer looking in real life.
