Thank you. This is my first applique. I thought mine looks pretty. My sample of the fans will be in pinks, plums and white. I thought your quilt is sort of oriental and so I was trying to think of things that represent oriental stuff. That is where I came up with the idea of fans and kites.

Sandy - here is the beginning of your gingerbread row. The 'man' still needs more embellishment and the scan is a partial but you can get the gist. This will be the center block.
    Hope you like it.

Love your gingerbread man, Sandy! Very cute idea.
Hey girls, has everyone seen Boohoofish's small table top pieces she made for a neighborhood quilt show-sale? They are really clever and pretty. Look in "pictures," pretty sure. I saw them Sunday, so can't remember the page.
    Great job, Boohoofish!
    Mariah.

Really cute and can't wait to see the other blocks.
Sherry, how do you turn blocks right side up when there isn't the option listed? I know how to do it where the option is given; that is easy.
I will appreciate you telling me. thanks!

I right click on the picture and click on save picture as, then type in what I want to save picture as. Then I go to photo shop or where the photo is stored in my computor. Click on the picture and rotate the picture to where I want it. Then save it.

Thanks, Sherry. I have it saved and will practice it some time. We are always learning!
    Hugs to everyone,

Martha, I just got some yummy summer flowers in - in fabric that is - zinnias you will die for! And more, but I still haven't opened it all!

I also found another tree, so now I have a choice in trees - you will like this one too.
