I cant believe it has been so long since anyone posted here!! April 15th is right around the corner and I've not posted any pics either  Well, Jenn has been so wonderful and told me to finish what I wanted instead of changing my mind and making something simple... so I am posting pics of my finished row [actually need to add some leaves to first section when it comes back] and also the picture of Lillie's first row and the fabrics for my row that will be added to her quilt...

    my row

Thanks - yes I hand appliqued just about all of it - except for the background strips - I didnt have an actual "pattern" for the background, so I pieced the grass and hill to the sky and when I got to a curve in the fence, or the rock wall [which is actually "bark" fabric] I hand appliqued the parts that I couldnt get the machine around.

I fused the little pussywillows and embroidered about a dozen straight stitches on each one and then drew in the branches in the middle section using pigma pens and another "paint brush" for fabrics pen - I can write it down some other time [messy...cant find them!]

As an "early bird" I can definitely tell you that I have a whole group of UFO's!! Right now I'm trying to meet a challenge of having 4 of them completed by our June chapter meeting. I've been working on a quilt for Japan ( finished today ) and one to be raffled for Breast Cancer Research at the same time. LOL

I got Cre8tvlwyers - just have to finish attaching what I've done to yours. I did make some changes when I saw yours. :) Sorry, Easter holiday got in my way a little bit!
