Thanks, I would like to do 1930's sampler. I do have another sewing machine - it doesn't embroidery. I'll get to work and have something to show very soon.

Hi! I am sorry I have not been involved. I am taking care of my 52 year old son who is recovering, very nicely, from a heart attack he had on thanksgiving day. I need help please. Do each of us start with a Center and then as each quilt comes to us we add a row? I have not done this before but am excited about it. I have been working on my competition quilt for the Mancuso Hampton show in February. Let me know so I can get started. BTW I love the name.

This is my first time doing an exchange. We each do a row measuring 12.5 inches x 60.5 inches in our theme and then send it to the next person and they add a row the same measures to our theme.

That's correct this is a "Row Robin". You can say where you want your row to be in placement if they are horizontal or verticle a number of options but it measures 12.5 inches by 60.5 inches.

OK. What the h*** is going on. Today, my embroidery machine broke....ugh. Thank God I finished my turtles before this happened. It seems that this machine has been in the shop more times than I have gotten to use it. Ugh.

Well I'm finally over the flu and started on my row. mmonohon-Sorry to hear your machine is down too. Hope it's an easy fix or at least cheaper than mine. Can't believe how quiet this group is. Has anyone heard from juliasb? Hope everything is ok. hobo2000- glad to hear your son is doing better and good lucky on your competition quilt. Would love to see pictures of it. I'll post pictures of my row when if get it done.

Jeri, I took my machine in today and it is still under warranty so I think it should be free.

Sorry ladies, I am slow on checking in here. I have things thought out for my first row but that is where it is for tonight. I hope to have it ready by the weekend if all goes well.. I look forward to getting to know each of you through this experience. I love the group name! Nice job. More later. Julia
