    Jacquie,
How do you go about making your label? Now I'm really intimidated! So far I've just used a fabric marker and a piece of white fabric for my labels. I'd love to learn how to put a design on a fabric label.

this will need to be sent out our first row.

i'm going to design and make mine probably before i make my row... just to give me longer thinking time for my row.
the label will also have to be a fair size to accommodate all the writing that will need to be fitted into it.
'bookworm' told us in the info letter all the things to be mentioned i.e row number, name, place your from, etc...

it will be nice to see pic's of everyones labels too!

The fearless leader in IRR3 (Terri) assigned a team leader for each Round Robin Group. That way she doesn't have to keep up with everyone all the time.

Draw color pallette from a different season. Spring is coming up, so maybel pastel (batik pastel) spring colors. That'll be new and force you to make something a little out of your comfort range.

I think .... I'm anxious and excited about getting started with Row Robin 2011. You know what ... I know I'm anxious, because I've been working on my row all evening and since it is now 12:45AM, I think it's time for me to go to bed!

hi, you can make your label to match your theme...
lori L made a pretty label to send with her centre in her Round robin', which would be sewn onto her quilt back once it was finished.
don't forget you can customise the label any way you want.

This is all very intriguing... that picture of Izzy that you posted a few pages back - while very cute, definitely looked like she was up to something! That picture inspired an idea for a row for which the fabrics won't make sense on their own???!!! You're up to something too! April - you're a master of suspense!

    Hi Lara,
LOL Yes I am up to something too (Izzy is ALWAYS up to something ) :-) I hope to have my row done tonight so I can show you all and see what you think...it is definitely outside of the box so I hope whomever ends up in my group will enjoy working with it :-)
But then again if I do finish tonight perhaps instead of showing the row I will show snippets of fabric and keep you all in suspense for just a smidge longer.....
    Hugs
