happy turkey day all.
i haven't started yet due to other commitments. maybe this weekend while letting the "dinner" settle.
all you early beginners will have a long time to wait for us regular people to catch up. ha-ha. so we will wait to start but you will wait to see ours. glad you are sharing though, because it will motivate me.
love your fabrics, april.

Those of us that are anxious, obsessive, early acheivers, should lobby the Hostess to put us in the same group.... that way we won't intimidate others with our early start ...lol :-D   :P

This sounds like so much FUN!!! I have really been wanting to do a RR.
I would to know if I am understanding what to do: Would I make 12.5 blocks to get the 60.5 length of the row? Maybe do all star blocks, then the next person would do what? add another row of stars or something?
Another question...Sorry...Would my row have to go out on Dec 20th?

Karen,
You come up with a theme/colors/design for your quilt top whatever you decide, it can be as simple as star blocks or as detailed as star blocks in blues....then you make the 1st row that must measure 12 1/2" x 60 1/2" when completed, it can be 5 blocks or all one pc of fabric that size. Then you mail it to the next person on your list ( you'll be given the name by hostess after Registration closes on Dec 20th ) That person adds the next row following your theme/color guidelines whatever you have chosen. When they are finished they forward to next person for next row, etc. You will receive someone elses row to add the next row. If you got mine for example, ( I've chosen teapots/teacups/mugs) you would add a row of your choice that has teapots/teacups/mugs. It can be in the fabric print, appliqued, paper pieced, etc as long as it follows the owners theme.
The deadline for signing up w/your theme etc is Dec 20th, then the hostess will put us in groups and send us the names in our groups the 1st week of January 2011. The 1st row deadline for mailing is Feb 15, 2011. The dates are on the 1st page of this thread. Hope this helps

Okay everyone here it is! Please let me know what you all think. It is a vertical row and the letters of Izabella's name are all done in fabrics to represent things she likes. Does it look alright? Her hand prints are at the top and her footprints on the bottom. And those are pictures of her spanning the 4 years of her life :-)
Perhaps you are right Pattis--maybe we should start an early group to "encourage" others to join and have fun lol
