I love block 1. I did not know shirts looked like that. Where would you get that type of fabric? All of them are beautiful!

Mine too. No reason to be scared. Just take it for what it is - a fun project, an opportunity to a variety of quilting blocks and to let your imagination go. I can't wait. Unfortanately won't be able to start mine til first of year, but have my fabrics and themes. Good place to look for block ideas is "quilter's cache". Google it. They probably have 1000

I sure hope I don't get your blocks. I would have no idea what to do with that. You're using the bright one as well as the 2 light ones? You'll have to post it when you get them put together, cuz I just can't picture it, and I'm sure you have a very clear idea of what you are doing. :!:

I would say, use whatever you want to.
That's not cheating. It's using something you already have available for the purpose it was intended - a quilt. You go girl. :-)

This is my first as well and I am very nervous. I picked out my theme, Bear Paws, ___, ____, ____, and ____ Oh My! Going with a nature, outdoors theme. We live in a log home and have a small cabin in the mountains. I would love it all done in flannel if possible. I think it should be fun. Time to get started since it looks like many have a head start already.
