I'm very interested but a bit overwhelmed with all of the information. I do understand the general directions and it sounds exciting.

I love your row Dayle...it is so cool!

I am new and a fraidy cat too and I joined, so come on and join in the fun. I am sure, if we get stuck on something, there will be lots of others here that can give us help or directions of what to do.

ok, well due to being snowed in since saturday, i've cracked on and made my first row.
oooooohhhhh, i really enjoyed myself!! and i'm tempted to make the same row again to add to the bottom when it reaches it's way home at the end of the year. i'm not sure i can wait that long!! lol
so here it is along with 3 close ups of the blocks that make up the row...

What a wonderful use of fabric, colors and design. If this is what being "snowed in" produces, I am anxious to see what will happen when the April rains strike, or the blistering sun in August. The row is beautiful. I think a duplicate to finish it at the bottom would certainly complete the project. As for waiting for next year to get your quilt "home", you might want to join several others of us who are thinking of lobbying the hostess to put us "over achievers, speedy responders" on one team. We might finish in only several months.....  Ooooooohhhhh, Just kidding, well maybe not!

I sent you a PM. I think this sounds like a blast. It will be my first attempt at something like this.

I am a new quilter - but have become a fanatic.

    Looking very forward to it.
