    thanks everyone,
    it's regular applique, most of it was sewn just inside the edge, and the heart & stems on the big single leaf was machine blanket stitch.
    i must admit i'm addicted to applique right now, does it show?? lol
    love jacquie xxxx

    jacquie - this is stunning. i envy your applique. love it!

    i have also considered adding a duplicate or other row to my top when i get it all back. i have so many drafted versions of my first row, it seems a shame not to use more. however, once the others get their hands on my first row i expect superlative rows will be added and that may cause me to remove my first row and start over or move it to the back. ha-ha :roll:

    no, I actually took it apart because the one square didnt lay right. I will post pic as soon as I finish redoing it.

    Did you see bookworm said to PM her if we really want to be in the "over achiever/get it done quickly" group. I am in if you are.

    ok, here is my label... which is HUGE!!!!!!!
    but i don't care!! lol,
    i used left over triangles from the autumn leaf in the first row.
    i will finish the decorative stitching on the top pinwheel when it returns home to me next year as i didn't want to remove the freezer paper!! that block was added afterwards!
    there is a gap left underneath 'row robin' for our group name, and i'm about to add this motto at the bottom;

    'Many faces, many smiles, :)
    Remember me across the miles'...

    i just found it on-line. :)
    (feel free to use it as well,)
