NO sniff sniffing, pull up your big girl pants, dry your eyes, and send a PM to bookworm, if she has enough for another early group you might be able to start early also. just find 4 more people who want to start early.
I thought there were others who said they wanted to start and had their row finished. Good Luck, ((((April))))

    Jacquie,
The way I understand it, since we have all chosen a theme, colors, etc when we work on that persons top we have the choice of what we do with our row as long as we keep with the theme and color choices of the owner. If it is different, please let me know.

do we get our own group thread?
that way we can discuss where we go from here, i.e
one question springs to mind...do each of us follow a themed row list?
such as, row 2= log cabin, row 3= sewers choice of block, row 4= a star block etc etc...

no, you are quite right. i re-read the intro.

a ladies intuition is never wrong, just look at the rows, and let them do the talking...
    ;) :P

Well, April, I'm with you ....sniff...sniff - but I know noone and guess I should start with a theme. I have soooo many ideas and although I don't want to 'steal ' one, I'm really partial to nature - flowers and animals. That example of RR someone posted early on in applique was breathtaking. Since animals can be tricky - I'll probably stick to flowers of all sorts - pieced, appliqued, and maybe also someone can add a row using floral fabrics in a geometric or traditional block row?? how does that sound? Should I PM bookworm as well - or do you take it from here? And I am confused - are we supposed to pick our own groups?

You need to PM the leader ( Bookworm ). She will be setting up the groups and she will post your theme.

welcome, welcome. i was worried about making it too hard for others too, but finally decided that everyone is able to come up with something that i will be happy with. i went with my favorite giraffes. there are so many fabrics today that meet almost any theme that you will be able to come up with something, even if only to match the color scheme.

you need to pm bookworm so she can set you up with a group. checkout page 1 of this thread for all rules.
