Do they have to be realistic or can they be more artistic?

Dayle, if the ideas are already flowing just do an extra row and ship it to her. no group needed to share creativity.....just my thought....you can do it

What a GREAT idea .... "Love" the Australian animals and have a couple of Quilting Books by Margaret Rolfe, who has all kinds of patterns for birds and animals. Visited your area and just loved "every minute" we were there. Wish you were going to be in my group .... the mind is already working on your ideas.

Sandpipers are tiny little birds whose feet move so fast you can't see their feet. I will try and find a picture.

Love your theme. What are sandpipers? I am from Kansas, not much beach around here. LOL

I figured out how to do my blocks and have them cut out. Thank you to who ever said to make my blocks to come out to 12 1/2" each. It is easier to figure out that way.
