Thanks everyone. I guess I'm not the only one who likes keeping going into the early AM hours. I get my best work done then. I am starting the other two blocks like this one. This time I'm using my accuquilt GO. So much faster - cutting and sewing.

Roseysue, that's a beautiful block. Anxious to see what you come up with to go with it.

Wow, Bookworm -- they are GREAT. I never thought of doing an applique over batik. You did a fine job. The contrast is fantastic. Can't wait to see more.

Roseysue -- beautiful florals, and nice color combinations. Too bad you're not in my group since I have a lot that would go with it. I love florals of any kind.

Wow! This is gorgeous. Is there anyway that I could get the pattern? I have the 50 state flowers to make into a quilt and I think this would be great. Is it a difficult pattern?
